Fu Long Plinko, the golden dragon drop
Fu Long Plinko is a Golden Dragon drop game in the Casual tab of Springbok Casino's lobby. The help page gives an RTP of 95% and a maximum win of $15,000.00 or its equivalent.
Springbok's press release quotes the top award as R270,000. The game is not on the bonus wagering list.

How Fu Long Plinko works
Not read inside the game
Fu Long Plinko would not load for this guide's check, so its rules come from the game's help page and Springbok's press release (checked 9 October 2026). The bet sizes and multipliers shown on the game screen were not seen.
The help page describes a classic drop board with a few extra dials. You choose:
- The board: 12, 14 or 16 rows of pegs.
- The risk level: Pearl, Gold and Jade, from low to high volatility, each with its own credit cost.
- The credit value and how many tokens go down in each drop.
Each token then rattles down the pyramid into one of the bottom slots, and the multiplier on that slot decides its payout.
How a Fu Long Plinko drop works
- A token drops from the top. Choose Pearl, Gold and Jade (low, medium or high volatility in the help page), the credit value and how many tokens drop.
- Board size: 12, 14 or 16 rows (help page). The drawing shows 12.
- At every peg the token bounces left or right. The path is random; there is no aiming in these rules.
- The token lands in a slot at the bottom, and that slot's multiplier sets the return for the token.
- Bonus Drops: a token in the Dragon Bucket can trigger 5 to 100 free tokens (help page).
Fu Long Plinko and bonus wagering
Not on the wagering list
Springbok's terms name the games that clear a bonus: 7 Stud Poker, Bingo games, European Slot Poker, Keno, Pai Gow Poker, Scratch Cards and all Slots. Fu Long Plinko is not on it. A bet on an unlisted game, placed before wagering is finished, voids the bonus and whatever it won, so the sensible way in is a cash balance with no coupon running.
Springbok terms and conditions, checked 9 October 2026.
The dragon name links it to a slot in the same lobby, but for bonus purposes Fu Long Plinko sits with the crash games: excluded. Keep coupons for slots and keno, and drop tokens here from cash once no bonus is running.
Fu Long Plinko risk levels: Pearl, Gold and Jade
Unlike Plinko Beyond, where the published material does not rank the levels, Fu Long Plinko's help page says plainly which level is which.
| Level | Volatility (help page) | What that usually means |
|---|---|---|
| Pearl | Low | Slot values bunched closer together; smaller swings from drop to drop |
| Gold | Medium | A middle path between the two |
| Jade | High | More value pushed to the edge slots and less in the middle; long quiet runs are normal |
Two more details come from the sources. The help page says each level has a different credit cost, so the same number of tokens does not cost the same at every level. And the lobby tile says all three volatility levels can be played at once. Check on the game screen how the cost adds up before you drop with cash.
The lobby tile ties the names to the theme as well: dropped tokens uncover pearl, gold and jade relics.
Rows, credit value and what a drop costs
Fu Long Plinko offers one more board size than Plinko Beyond: 12, 14 or 16 rows. More rows mean more bounces before a token settles, which on most plinko boards spreads the possible results wider.
The cost of a drop depends on several settings together. The only published rand range is Springbok's: roughly R2 to R550 a bet, given in its press release with dollar equivalents. It is an approximate operator figure and was not read in the game, so treat the game screen as the final word.
| Setting | What the source says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Credit value | You choose it | Help page |
| Tokens per drop | You choose how many | Help page |
| Risk level | Each level has its own credit cost | Help page |

Bonus Drops and the Dragon Bucket
The help page describes one feature. A token that lands in the Dragon Bucket can randomly trigger a Bonus Drop of 5 to 100 free tokens. Those free tokens fall with the same risk level and the same number of rows as the drop that set them off.
- It is random. Reaching the bucket gives a chance of a Bonus Drop, not a promise of one.
- The range is wide. The help page gives a spread of 5 to 100 tokens and does not say how often each size comes up.
- Your settings carry over. A Bonus Drop triggered at Jade on the tallest board plays out at Jade on the tallest board.
Fu Long Plinko maximum win and RTP
The top win is published twice, in two currencies, by two different sources.
Two ways the Fu Long Plinko top win is quoted
Springbok's press release
Top award R270,000 (approx. $15,000), with bets of roughly R2 to R550.
The rand figure is Springbok's own conversion. Neither number was read inside the game.
The help page's $15,000.00 or its equivalent is the game's own ceiling. Springbok's press release gives a rand figure of R270,000, its own approximate conversion of $15,000, so the real rand ceiling moves with the exchange rate. This guide shows both rather than picking one.
The RTP of 95% also comes from the help page. Across a huge number of drops, that is the share of stakes paid back as winnings; within one session, results can land far above or below it.
Can you aim a Fu Long Plinko drop?
Springbok's preview of the game talks about picking your drop point. The help page, which sets out the rules, does not mention aiming at all, and the game itself could not be checked, so this guide does not treat aiming as a rule. Even if the game does let you choose where a token starts, every bounce below that point is random, and the landing slot is still down to chance.
Fu Long Plinko in Springbok's lobby
Fu Long Plinko reached the lobby on 29 October 2025, well before Plinko Beyond joined it on 10 June 2026, which makes it the older of the two drop boards in the Casual tab.
Look for it by its full name. Fu Long Treasures shares the dragon name but is a different game entirely, a reel slot, covered in this look at the Fu Long Treasures slot. Fu Long Plinko is the drop board.
