Plinko Beyond, the space-age drop board

Plinko Beyond is a plinko-style drop game in Springbok Casino's Casual tab. Tokens fall through a board of 12 or 16 rows of pegs, bounce at random and land in a slot whose multiplier sets the payout. The lobby tile describes three risk levels in play at once and Bonus Drops of free tokens; Springbok's review adds an RTP of 95% and a top award of USD 15,000 or equivalent.

It is not on Springbok's bonus wagering list, so drop tokens with cash, not a coupon.

How Plinko Beyond works

Plinko is about as simple as the lobby gets. A token starts at the top of a triangle of pegs. At every row it strikes a peg and goes left or right, and after the last row it drops into one of the slots along the bottom. Each slot carries a multiplier, and the stake on that token times the slot's multiplier is what comes back.

Going by the game's lobby tile, three things shape a Plinko Beyond drop:

  • The board size: 12 or 16 rows of pegs.
  • The risk levels: Stardust, Plasma and Antimatter, which the tile says are played at once.
  • Bonus Drops: free tokens awarded during play.

How a Plinko Beyond drop works

  1. A token drops from the top. Plinko Beyond plays its three risk levels (Stardust, Plasma and Antimatter) at once, per Springbok's review.
  2. Board size: 12 or 16 rows (Springbok's review). The drawing shows 12.
  3. At every peg the token bounces left or right. The path is random; there is no aiming in these rules.
  4. The token lands in a slot at the bottom, and that slot's multiplier sets the return for the token.
  5. Bonus Drops award free tokens (Springbok's review).
Illustration of the rules only, drawn by this guide: not a real round, not Springbok's artwork, and not a guide to what will happen next. Slot multipliers are left blank on purpose: they depend on the risk level and rows chosen.

What you do not steer is the bounce. Nothing in Springbok's description of the game mentions aiming, nudging or choosing a drop point, so treat every path as random and every result as unconnected to the one before it.

Plinko Beyond and Springbok bonuses

Not on the wagering list

Springbok's terms name the games that clear a bonus: 7 Stud Poker, Bingo games, European Slot Poker, Keno, Pai Gow Poker, Scratch Cards and all Slots. Plinko Beyond is not on it. A bet on an unlisted game, placed before wagering is finished, voids the bonus and whatever it won, so the sensible way in is a cash balance with no coupon running.

Springbok terms and conditions, checked 9 October 2026.

Plinko Beyond sits in the lobby's New Games tab among fresh slot releases, which makes it easy to assume a welcome coupon can be played on it. It cannot. Slots count toward wagering and this board does not, so a drop made while a bonus is still being wagered voids that bonus and what it has won. Finish wagering any coupon on slots or keno first, then come back to the board with cash.

Stardust, Plasma and Antimatter: the three risk levels

On a plinko board, the risk level decides how the multipliers are spread across the slots. A gentle setting keeps the values close together, so most drops return something in the region of the stake. A sharp setting pushes value out to the edge slots and leaves the middle thin, so most drops return little and the occasional edge landing returns a lot. What changes is how uneven the results are from one drop to the next.

Plinko Beyond names its levels Stardust, Plasma and Antimatter, and its lobby tile says all three are in play at once. Three things are missing from the published material this guide holds:

  • which name is the gentlest and which the sharpest;
  • the multiplier in each slot at each level;
  • what "at once" means for your stake, whether one total is split across the levels or each level takes its own.

All three are visible in the game itself, so check them on the game screen, ideally on fun money, before any cash goes down.

Picking the board size

The game's lobby tile lists two board sizes: 12 or 16 rows. More rows mean more pegs, more bounces and more slots across the bottom. Every extra bounce is another left-or-right turn, and only a long run of turns in the same direction carries a token to the far edge. That is why plinko boards usually keep their biggest multipliers at the edges: they are the hardest slots to reach.

A taller board therefore tends to stretch the spread, offering bigger edge values that are reached less often. Whether Plinko Beyond's taller board follows that pattern, and by how much, has to be read on the game screen; the slot values are not in Springbok's review summary.

Bonus Drops: free tokens

Plinko Beyond's extra feature is the Bonus Drop, which the lobby tile describes as awarding free tokens: tokens that go down the board without a fresh stake from you.

Neither the tile nor Springbok's review says what triggers a Bonus Drop or how many tokens one brings. Its neighbour in the Casual tab is better documented: Fu Long Plinko's help page says a token in its Dragon Bucket can set off 5 to 100 free tokens. Do not assume Plinko Beyond works the same way; the Fu Long Plinko guide covers that game's feature only.

Both headline numbers come from Springbok's review of the game, so they are Springbok's claims rather than figures read from a help page or the game screen.

The RTP. 95% is a long-run average: over an enormous number of drops, that share of everything staked comes back as winnings. It does not describe a session, an evening or a hundred drops, and it says nothing about the next token.

The top award. Springbok quotes it in dollars, as USD 15,000 or equivalent, and this guide leaves it that way rather than converting it at whatever the exchange rate happens to be on the day. It is the ceiling of the game, not a target, and nothing published gives the odds of reaching it. For more on reading a return figure, see what an RTP percentage does and does not tell you.

Plinko Beyond or Plink Beyond?

Same game, two spellings. The lobby tile says Plinko Beyond, which is the name used on this page. Springbok's press copy calls it Plink Beyond, so the launch announcement and some search results use that form. The game reached the lobby on 10 June 2026 and comes from Realtime Gaming (RTG), which supplies most of Springbok's lobby.

Playing Plinko Beyond, step by step

  1. Find the tile

Open the Casual tab in Springbok's lobby. Plinko Beyond sits with the crash games, Fu Long Plinko and Henferno.

  2. Start on fun money

Choose Try It! to use the practice balance Springbok says logged-out visitors get once (R1,000). Learn how the risk levels and stake controls behave there.

  3. Choose the board and read the slots

Pick the board size, then look at the slot values on the game screen so you know the range before you stake.

  4. Set a cash stake and a stopping point

With no bonus running, set your stake per drop and decide in advance how many drops, or how much of your budget, the session gets.

  5. Drop, then let the result go

Each token's path is random. A run of low slots does not make an edge slot any more likely next time.
